New Chandelier in Dining Room

Replacing the ceiling fan with a chandelier was an easy inexpensive fix for us.
The ceiling fan with globe light did not create the sort of effect we wanted in our dining room. After taking a few pictures of the space we headed to the Habitat for Humanity ReStore in Knoxville. The fixture we selected resembled several others with thin molded arms holding cut glass shades. When we picked up the light at the ReStore it was missing two of five shades. So we headed to Home Depot and tried to find replacements. None of the shades at the store were a match so we ended up buying five new shades that we liked. What this gave us was a one-of-a-kind chandelier that fit in with our house just right. Much better than the ceiling fan with a dim light that had been there before.
